Since the arrival of Jifeline remote diagnostics, the possibilities in the field of remote programming have become ever greater. In addition to many trailer hitch encodings and service interval resets, for example, roughly 50 keys per day are now being registered to cars via Jifeline while the car can remain in the relevant workshop. The time for an average key programming is about 10 minutes, which is a time saving of one to two hours compared with the past. Not just universal garage companies, but even dealer companies have found their way to Jifeline. Because even a trade-in sometimes needs a key, and if you have all the possibilities in-house, then you can make better use of it!
A new version of Jifeline will be for sale from the first quarter of 2020. This will be implemented with a WiFi module, which means that you will no longer be dependent on a smartphone or tablet. From then on, you can also connect to your computer or laptop! This version also has an option to pre-code keys on location, which is particularly useful for keys that are pre-configured at the factory. Think of all Fiat-based keys from 2002 and all VAG keys from 2005 onwards.
* Jifeline-compatible means that keys purchased from us can be registered by or, in some cases, only with Jifeline equipment. You can recognize the Jifeline compatible keys in the CLS ordering process by the small orange Jifeline logo behind the article.
