Commercial Sales Manager – United Kingdom

As part of our ambitious European growth strategy, we are now expanding into the UK market with Car Lock Systems UK — our new division dedicated to serving UK automotive dealers, garages, and workshops. This is a rare opportunity to join the business at the very start of its UK journey and play a pivotal role in shaping its growth over the coming years. 

The Role – Commercial Sales Manager (UK) 

As the Commercial Sales Manager, you will take ownership of developing and executing our commercial strategy within the UK. You will be responsible for building strong partnerships with importers, dealerships, and other automotive businesses, positioning Car Lock Systems UK as the go-to supplier for original vehicle keys and lock solutions.

You’ll work closely with our European Commercial team and UK operations to deliver both growth and exceptional customer experiences. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and execute a UK-focused sales and business development strategy in line with company objectives. 
  • Build, manage, and grow long-term relationships with automotive importers, dealer groups, and service networks. 
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across the UK automotive supply chain. 
  • Negotiate and close framework agreements for products and services. 
  • Collaborate with the wider Commercial, Marketing, Pricing, and Customer Service teams across Europe. 
  • Provide market feedback to support pricing, product development, and strategic decision-making. 
  • Represent Car Lock Systems UK at trade events, industry shows, and customer meetings. 
  • Report directly to the Directors 

Your Profile 

  • A confident, approachable sales professional who combines seniority with a customer-friendly, down-to-earth approach. 
  • Energetic and commercially driven, with a genuine passion for developing relationships and new markets. 
  • Deep understanding of the UK automotive landscape, ideally with experience working with OEMs, importers, or large dealer groups.
  • Strategic thinker who can translate goals into actionable sales plans and deliver measurable results. 
  • Skilled communicator with strong negotiation and presentation abilities. 
  • Commercially astute, trustworthy, and self-motivated. 

Requirements 

  • Degree-level education (or equivalent professional experience). 
  • Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in senior commercial or sales management roles. 
  • Proven track record in the automotive sector, preferably within the supply chain, OEM, or dealer environment. 
  • Full UK driving licence.
